Hola,
This is Ranch rendono... the mountains in my area
So this past week was even worse as far as the work goes because we were lazy and stupid excuses like that. But We taught a guy and have been for about a week and he says he is almost done with the book of Mormon which is Crazy! Then he accepted a baptismal date!! People accept the date but they don't commit so we have like 7 dates set but Like 2 are maybe real.

So I didn't get transferred but Elder Andrade did so today has so far been a long day, because of going to San Jose then yea waiting and dumb stuff. So, we (Diego, my recent convert) took a taxi to San Jose ( and waited for my comp with like 50 other missionaries there. And on the way back we had a member take us back which was cool because it was free but we didn't know that they had to go shopping and stuff and so we waited a while. But my new comp is Elder Xicarà (chicara). He knows English and has been out about a year.  So that's good.

But yea there is rain. It hasn't rained as hard as FL yet though. But today was really hot and Humid!!! And yea I haven't sweat this much in a long time!

OOHHH!!!! I think you knew already but I get to call you on Mothers Day! I'm not sure for how long but through Skype. So that'll be cool!

Got some wicked food poisoning last night and my stomach is still not too happy at the moment. I didn't throw up but oooo it was ugly..... I'll be nice and not go into detail.

Look up the talk with trying to describe the flavor of salt, i think it was Pres. Packer... It's awesome when trying to explain how you know to someone who doesn't.
Well I love you

Hey,
I love the temple!
So this week felt really long for me but not really in a bad way just long. But Monday wasn't P-day because we went to the Temple on Wednesday and that was AMAZING!!! It was probably the best experience I have had in the Temple, not because of the Spanish because honestly that wasn't fun, at all. But it was good and later, I felt the most peace I have ever felt and it was so tranquil and WOW!!!! I miss going to the Temple every week. Oh the San Jose Temple is So Tiny, everything is just right there. I probably walked further to get to the bus stop, which wasn't even far, than in all in the Temple.

Yea we were teaching a recent convert and he had the tv on like always and saw a commercial for Furious 7 and I couldn't help myself but to watch the Trailer and Dang that looks good. Nothing really new. Had Pupusas this week (El Salvador food, that they eat almost everyday) and it was pretty good, Its got, well actually I don't know exactly but it had Chichurron, which is pretty much everything in the pig... Worse than a hot dog like what its made of, but it tastes good...

No new investigators, or baptisms. Well we do but they aren't like "I want to be baptized!" so so not really. This week has been a weird week and so lots of buses cause of meetings and such and yea taxis still.

Yea the marker came out of my shirt, so its all good. Oh so we watched Saratov Approach last night, and it is a super good movie, I was worried to watch it but it brought me a lot of comfort. Don't know if you should watch it or not but it is good. I think that's all, not much happened. Oh but my Spanish is getting better, pèople say my accent is much better.
This is what 5:30 in the morning looks like here.

The trains here remind me of my Thomas trains I played with as a kid.

Love you,

Hey Mom,
Sorry about today being weird! It has been a lot of running around! Like everywhere around San Jose. Oh and then when we were home I was jamming (shocker I know) to my MoTab and good stuff and cleaning the house as my comp slept... I was happy about that... Not really!  Ha Ha Ha...

Umm not much happened this week as far as lessons or anything of that  nature, but we did have 2 experiences which were, fun I guess. The first we were going to an investigator's house and its not the safest place to go, not the most dangerous either. But as we were walking we kinda got stopped by this dog, not even very big, and I have never heard a dog growl like a lion and so we started to walk away and it followed us for awhile. Elder Andrade is afraid of dogs and so when I turned to walk away, ignoring it and he was like don't run. lets go. But that's an often occurrence where he will just stop because a dog is barking at him.  Then later that day we were going back home and this guy yells "yall mormons" (obviously in Spanish) and my comp answered "Yep" then it was exciting, the guy said, well, "I feel like shooting a mormon". I didn't know what was going on but my comp was like OK lets go... quickly, and I was like OK? but then he told me, but the guy was drunk, we have a lot of those here.  But it's OK cause nothing  happened and I'm safe.

Transfers are next week. We'll see what happens.

Oh sorry about the grammar mistakes, its because these keyboards are sticky and gross, and I feel like I forget a little bit of english here and there, like I am catching myself think in more spanish, which I guess isn't bad. But not much has happened this week. I feel like its the same thing every week because we are slacking and just not good companions.
Ties are cheap here... adding to my collection

I've still got it :)

Hey ,
So conference was an experience for sure because well it was is Spanish, so it kinda sucked. but I got the last session in English. It was weird because I didn't know how much I missed/loved being together as a family for conference. So it was hard for me. But I got a word out of most of the talks.

Easter was weird because they have "semana Santa" meaning Holy Week, and celibrate Christ all week, but in a werid way. Like on Friday they had a funeral precesion for Christ and just super weird things. And their traditions are crazy and just weird! Catholics especially. Oh so are you ready for the second coming? haha thats what I got from conference. Its gonna happen soon thats for sure.

Oh!!!! Exciting stuff!!! I don't know if you heard about the Eathquake here but there was one when were eating lunch. It was a 4.8 magnitude. It was pretty exciting because I thought someone was shaking my chair but then found out that it was an Earthquake. And the Volcano erupted again but only ash, but we didn't get any here. But yea that was exciting. No one died or got hurt, it was like a rolling motion, different but fun :)

OHHH We are going to the Temple on Wednesday!!! No sign of the taxi driver. Oh but my Investigator I baptized, Diego, calls me Godfather, its funny but in Spanish.

We helped an inactive build their second floor. So the walls here are crazy thin, as in you share a wall with your neighbor and sometimes when they talk and depending on the house because ours isn't as bad as others but, you can hear as good as you can hear someone talking from the kitchen(at home, your home) to the family room.

Well that's this week
Love you

Hey,
This week was sadly a waste. Like seriously. We went to a new place in our area, not new but no work has been done there because well its so far and so we took a bus there and walked back thinking we would contact some people on the way day. It wasn't a small walk either it took a half hour by bus and like 3 hours walking down a mountain so pretty far. And found out how people get kidnapped. Probably shouldn't say that, I didn't get kidnapped don't worry, but this nice guy offered us a ride and so we went and then said here is good and he stopped and let us out. Then I was thinking wow I would have never done that in the states. The guy was super nice and cool though cause when he dropped us off he picked up 4 more people. Then yesterday we went up with the bishop in his van and he drove crazy slow so it took like an hour and a half. didn't contact anyone again. But whatever at church the Relief Society Pres. came up to me and said that she heard that my Spanish is becoming more fluent and I was like oh ok cool? haha but yea it seems like people ask me everyday and my answer is the same every time, "mejor" better so yea.

Spanish is weird because like asking for things there isn't a polite or rude way like in English there are many ways but really there's like 2 in Spanish. OOh try going through a day without using the word "get" because there is No word for that in spanish and so that is propbably my biggest stump. Oh spanish with a jamaican accent is pretty cool. A recent convert is from jamaica and speaks a lot of english and so we went there and he likes english more than spanish and so he spoke more english than spanish. Well thats about it for this week I think.

OH I finally had that Cas drink and it was pretty good, tasted like Kiwi, like almost exactly like it and it as even green so I think that its kiwi but I could be wrong but idk
Love you

Hey,
So you may be wondering what are those 2 dots. Well let me tell you, at a baptism and this little boy runs up to me and pokes me twice, and ran off. Super fast and so I was like ok? and I look down and he poked me with a Marker!!! What the heck! I know kids these days. haha
Then me with my brand new! Back pack, oh yea and a hair cut.

Oh I found out today that I suck at soccer.

I haven't seen any flees or ticks. But I'm not in the jungle sadly. Oh so the way they "buy" dogs is they go outside and say I want that one, give it food and it follows thems home. Crazy and I described that we had to pay and they were like WHAT. Really weird, Oh and there are a ton of Huskies here, really surprising with the heat.

Haha, oh we are starting an English class so that will be fun. and then I helped Kristel who go baptized with her family the other week with some English and she got a 100 on her test and she ran up to me and gave me a hug, it was cute (she is 8, don't worry)

Oh but I did finally get your package!!! Thanks for all the greenie things :) This week was a joke as far as the work, lots of meetings then on I think Thursday I got hit hard with the stomach flu and so I slept for half the day, the other half we were in San Jose for a Mission Conference with someone from the Presidency of the 70 and the area president (from the 70) it was cool except in spanish so I didn't get much from it sadly. Connor emailed me thanking me for being a good friend and making him go and do things like the dance and skimboarding. It was cool to see that he is doing well, and I didn't know I had such an influence on them.
Thanks for everything Mom, I bought my backpack this week and it is super Tuanis... cool :) Oh so the way you say Costa Rica is actually the right way, and the way Pres. Henneman says it is wrong. Its funny when Ticos say it because it is so "gringo" and also "tierra" is awful how they pronounce it.  But its funny. So the Liahona is light reading... I have already read the Jan.-Feb. and they were super good and also 2 books out of the missionary library. You should read D&C 6, its a Really good section. Not much happened this week so its short this week.

Love you

Elder Jensen

*we had a few minutes to chat...*
ME: The hair cut looks great! The ink dots... Try rubbing alcohol to get it out... If it doesn't we can send picture to missionary mall to get it replaced.

Has the ash settled? So who is teaching the English class?

EJ:  Me and a sister from the are next to us. Yea the ash is gone, no more of that. It was just a normal washable marker I think and so our lady who does our clothes can work that out. Wait are my shirts 2 years too?

ME: Yes... Everything you bought there.

You have a laundry maid? What?

EJ: Yea, and also someone who makes lunch too, I mean we have to pay them but yea. But she isn't very good because she stained one of my shirts with detergent. Oh they hang up there laundry here. It helps us both out.

ME: Still... You got maids... Quit yer belly aching!

That's fun that you will be able to teach English classes... That will be fun...

So have you "bought" a dog yet... Can someone walk up to your dog , feed it then claim it's theirs... After all they did feed it...

EJ: Haha idk how that works. But My belly aching is called getting chubby... haha...
Well Im off... Love ya mom!

Mar. 10, 2015

Hi,
So yea this week has well felt like an eternity and stupid long. We had one great day and then the rest were the same as usual, unplanned and nothing special. Today we are on late because a meeting later. Tomorrow we are eating lunch with the president. Oh so lately I have been in a really snacky mood and having been eating a lot! Like A lot! So My belly has expanded...  so I got worried and started taking my exercise in the morning a lil more seriously and also I do it at night. I think I did about 150 sit ups and 100 push ups one day. That was intense. Me and my comp are still not getting along as well as I wish.

OHHHH!!!! We baptized a family yesterday and the dad wanted me to baptize him... He is about 250 lbs if I had to guess and I was like fetch... Because Spanish and this big dude and how am I gonna do it. So we were in the Font, oh no hot water at all, and so I had my socks on and my feet started slipping as I was dunking him and quicky asked in my mind stop stop stop and I stopped had to shove him under the wáter because he didn't want to go down and then lifting him back up wasn't to difficult. Only afterwards siting there when I realized I did not do that by myself and that Punka was there helping me. Very spiritual and very cool experience. I have pictures don't worry.

I asked a sister missionary who is from Nampa how long it takes to get mail and she said about a month and I would say it depends on where I am because right now I am kinda close to San Jose and so we go there about 2 times a month? I don't know since I have only been here for a month but yea idk what to tell you about that. I think transfers happen every 6-7 weeks? I think so, cause next week is a transfer and here they call it a cambiar which means a change and so if I start calling it a change thats why.

Love you,

Elder Jensen

Mar 3, 2015

Hey,
So this last week was... long story short crappy, But doing much better now. So I went home and prayed... Hard, and asked for a miracle or something, don't know exactly if it has happened yet but yesterday was 10 times better because I was able to talk to an hermana who is from Nampa and just be able to talk, in English, about just some fun times like Trek and such. Also went on a hike through a forest. Sorry, I was stupid and didn't bring my camera because I didn't know.

I think my Spanish is getting better. But you know how hard I can pay attention to something and to someone when they talk and that has been what I've been doing so I am catching on to words and phrases. Not forgetting English yet though. I miss speaking English all the time. I also miss driving. But oh well. I don't know if I told you but the driving here is crazy! And crossing the street. We J-walk all the time and it the normal thing to do... Kinda scary sometimes but I don't go if I know I won't make it, Don't worry.

My comp was sick all of last week and so he slept while I studied like crazy! Like I am half way through "our heritage" which is another Great Book! I remember when I was complaining about reading the books in the missionary library but truth be told I love them. I have also starting reading Jesus the Christ but that one is a hard read so I am giving that some time. I am in Mosiah 12 I think. Its when Abinadi is super bold with King Noah. Super interesting and cool to see the boldness he used.

I thought I was getting Chow Mein....not quite.
Haha mom, yea you wouldn't be able to live here because they Love Bread! Like they are what are called "Panderia" and they are everywhere and they make fresh bread and sweets and such. They also love sour cream more than Michelle and Mayo more than me... Yea I know gross. But I have had Heart of Palm salad and that was Super good! And then last night a member made for us "salchichon" which is like the sausage you use with sour kraut and they pan fried it and put it on a corn tortilla with a tomato onion salsa and it was super good! You should try it! They also like hot dogs except I think the hot dogs are spam, but they're still good. Oh then they put mayo and ketchup and raw cabbage on the hot dogs, weird I know. Oh we went shopping, Like legit yesterday and I am so happy with the food I got. I now have eggs, Tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, some cereal, milk, break, hamburgers, oh and toaster strudel.... I couldn't resist myself. Oh and of course Lemon pepper... They exact kind we used to have soo it'll last quite awhile.
This is where I study everyday.

Frescos are what they call drinks, its weird but yes I have. The ones I know I have had are papaya, cantaloupe, I can't remember or know the names of the others because fruit names in Spanish are much different. Oh Spanish people are prideful with their language because I will say a word in English like "funeral" and its exactly the same in Spanish and I didn't know and so I said it in a Spanish accent and they were like OHHHH, and I was like oh my gosh. But yea other than that I am doing better Today.

Hey,
So on pdays we get together as a district or zone sometimes and on tuesday we have a district meeting and there are more gringos so i can talk English... yay. I can take pictures and I am but sometimes the computers are either stupid slow or won't read my usb. We go to an internet cafe and the keyboards suck... as far as taking pictures, its just the area, there is not much to see in my area anyways.
I can feel all the prayers and am So thankful for them. It doesn't make it easier with my comp but it does help me have a good day. Crispin wrote me saying how there is a reason for all.

Well last week I read all of our search for happiness and let me just say that that is a Fantastic book, now I am reading Jesus the Christ and it is a lil difficult to read but i'm getting through it, but not very quickly. I am also in Mosiah now in the Book of Mormon, yesterday I read 20 pages .

Last week Elder Andrade was sick and so we needed to go to Coronado for some drugs for him and while we were there I got some Aloe Vera for my sun burn, shocker i know, and yea it was a little expensive... $13 for a lil bottle but hopefully it works and lasts a long time. Its Hawaiian... something, I recognized the name when I saw it. But anyways when going back we were waiting for a taxi and these 2 drunks come up to us asking for money and I freak out, on the inside, not knowing what they're saying and clenching onto my money in my pocket and then a miracle happened. A taxi pulled up and we had taken that same taxi the other day and he spoke English and fairly good English for only studying it for 2 years. But I know the Lord answers our prayers.

I'll try to send a picture but if not, I think my hand is getting blonder and my eyes seem to be getting so bright blue! They're really blue. But sometimes meeting someone they are like wow you have really pretty eyes because all Hispanics eyes are different shades of brown soo not much variety. The humidity is great... Haha well ok maybe a lil but the weather is phenomenal. It feels like Florida in the Springtime when everyone wants to be there. Except for the fact that at night it gets a lil cold, only a lil like mid 60's with the wind is kinda cold but here they break out their winter jackets and I'm not kidding when I mean winter jackets. But Costa Rica is beautiful and has weird weather. Sometimes it kinda rains but they are actual rain drops. Its almost like you're in a very dense cloud, except its not foggy at all just this mist. Super weird. Lots of banana trees and a few citrus trees here and there.
Love you

Hey so yea its hard... Thats the least I can say about that.

So my companion is hispanic and only speaks Spanish so talk about a difficult relationship. The ward is maybe 50 people so yea we have work to do. My companion talks a lot with people and then a hour later he starts the lesson, super annoying. The area... Yea my companion says its dangerous and so I wont be taking many pictures because I won´t have much stuff on me (we would only be robbed, that's the only thing that would happen) Oh the barbed wire is because they have a saying ´pura vida´ which means pure life but I have come to the conclusion that it means Hakuna matata and so basically if you don´t protect something good enough its mine, is what their mentality is and thats why all the barbed wire and bars. Its said that Costa Rica is the safest central america country. Oh and the people are super nice, they actually say Hi back with a smile, Crazy I know. So yea its stressful learning the language and stuff but I know that the Lord is with me. Probably the only reason why I am still here, but its all good.

I made it to Costa Rica in one piece!!!

A lil scary and overwhelming at first but I know once I get comfortable then I will Love it! It is SO beautiful here words can't describe it. It feels So great with the humidity and all the trees!!! And the people are SO nice! A guy was walking down the road and we were just standing a good 25 feet away and he said Hi and to have a good day, it didn't happen just once either. It has been happening all throughout the day. So tonight we are going out with a companionship to do some tracting and... Yikes... But just gotta hit the ground running I guess. And tomorrow is when we get our trainers and our areas. Oh! P days are on monday and on tuesday is when we email. I don't know why its like that but it is sooo yea. Good Stuff!!!

Love you all and thanks for the prayers and support!

PS don't send anything to me through UPS, DHL, Fedex, because they apparently never make it, only by the postal service because then it will get to me that way.

Jan 27, 2015

Hey,
So I am doing good today. Last night was hard, don't know why but it was and then while reading all the emails was just what I needed. Everyone sent really comforting, uplifting emails and I know it wasn't a coincidence. I know that they had an impression to write what they wrote.

Ki and I have been sitting together for almost every meal and devotional! It is great! I love being able to talk with him because I still feel like no one understands me, but he does.  I am so happy that I am able to help him through his first week here too and also i see Connor here and there. Its weird calling them Elder, Like Super Weird!

We had Elder Ballard come and talk to us last Tuesday and it was really cool! Good stuff he spoke about. My spanish is coming along pretty well. I was told by my Branch President that my spanish is really excelling, and he was told by my teachers. I don't think they just tell that to anyone... I just don't make a big deal out of "how hard" it is and just try to learn as much as I can. Cause really it is not that hard. At least for me it isn't. I told dad that I am doing pretty good and think I'm ready to teach in Spanish but only about the Gospel because I don't know any small talk kind of language so that'll be exciting. But Spi told me to embrace being a gringo.

I have gotten sick but not with anything serious. The On Guard beadlets actually really help with sore throats. Like A LOT!

So I wake up on Monday morning at 3:00 AM and then the flight leaves at 8:15 i think and then we fly to Atlanta on Delta, and we get in around 2:15 then leave 3 hours later and we get into Costa Rica at I think 8? But not too bad I think.I got a phone card? to call and so I have a 3 hour layover in Atlanta so I'll probably call there but not sure. But the Phone card has 3 hours on it so yea. I am a lil nervous because I have been looking at pictures on google maps and it is super cool! But its still not real for me. But I guess it will when I step off the plane.

Jan 20, 2015

This is week 6 for me and I am still holding on strong! I am loving spanish and learning it. It really is super interesting why the Lord calls certain people to certain places. I found out this week that my mission, Costa Rica, is being split in June and I have been stoked about that! The others in my district who are going to Costa Rica as well complain that they won't be able to go through out the entire country but I am so excited because that means that the people of Costa Rica are wanting to learn the Gospel, so many that they need more missionaries. The Lord's work is speeding up and we all need to be a part of it and try our hardest to set good examples to everyone to plant that seed of faith in the minds of others so when the missionaries come knock on their door, they are ready to hear from them. I am so thankful for all the support and prayers I have received.

On Sunday I spoke in sacrament meeting about Repentance in Spanish and i bore a very strong testimony on it as well. Todos en espanol. It was great. Then we had to do sacrement meeting for the employees and so I spoke in there as well. Both talks were the same talk just one in english the other in Spanish. The one in English though a lady came up to me and said "you said something that I really needed to hear" and that was really strong to me because no one has really done that.

Tomorrow I have two Really awesome friends coming to the MTC and I really hope I can see and talk to them because the MTC can be a stressful experience. Last week we had Elder Nelson speak to us, again we had him for Christmas too. I loved listening to him with his great advice and comments. I did take notes but I don't have them with me.

This morning we went to the Temple at 6:00 again  which means we had to wake up at 5:00 just to be able to get to the Temple and get clothes in time, but we were a lil late due to the size of our group. We got two new districts last week which added 18 new members to our zone of 8 people which was our only district. But luckily there is a session every 20 min so it wasn't a big deal. Oh then we got breakfast at the Temple which is Super good!

So I have two weeks from yesterday until I am heading to Costa Rica!!! I am so excited but it is still not real to me that I'll will be going there. We watched Meet the Mormons on Sunday and watching the Costa Rica part is just so beautiful and I am so excited to leave the MTC and start the work and stories. AHHH I'm so Excited!!! Its crazy!!!

Love You All

Jan 13, 2015

I have been doing great in the MTC and I am so excited to leave in 2 weeks to serve the people of Costa Rica. We have been learning Spanish  for 6 hours of the day and then for another 3 hours we get to study on our own time. The days have Flown by, All of my days seems like one long day. Elder Post and I have really been getting the hang of how to teach effectively and really invite the Spirit to our lessons, even though they are just our teachers but it still feels like an investigator. On sunday I was called to be the District Leader and it is a great responsibility. This afternoon we are going to the Temple and I am very excited because I love the Temple.

I started running last week during my time for Gym and I really enjoy it. On Saturday I ran a 5k in 32 min and I feel really slow compared to my little sister Allie who can do it much faster. But hopefully in the 2 weeks I am still here I can trim that number down.

This evening we are having a special Devotional because the MTC president is getting released and so during choir on Sunday the choir director told us there will be a lot of Higher up people in the Church so I am excited to see who is coming. We will be singing Josephs First Prayer. It sounds really nice.

I got the Krispie Kreme donuts and I shared with the district. Everyone said thank you! We go to the temple at 2:00 I think. I love to go there.

Love you all and thank you for the support that you give me!

So first is new years and no I am not that fat already, if anything I've built muscle.
then the next four are from our temple walk on Sunday.

This is someone i met... He is Elder Jensen Too!

Dec 30, 2014

This past week has been great especially with Christmas and last Sunday.
On Christmas I was able to call home and talk to  my family, it was weird. We had a Devotional in the morning and I sang in the choir a long with 600 other missionaries. It was powerful, maybe as powerful as the speaker. Elder Russell M. Nelson spoke to us on the Doctrine of Christ and it was Awesome! I liked the depth he went into it and the simplicity of it.

On Sunday I went to church at 8:00 in the morning, probably got out before anyone was awake. It was great though, especially since I didn't have to give a talk. They choose who speaks as they announce who is going to speak and so no one knows until the very last second. we all prepare our talks the night before. Or at least we're supposed to. Although I did have to give the opening prayer all in Spanish, wasn't to bad, especially since I've known how to for a few days. Then later in the day I went to choir and there were like 1/3 of who showed up during Christmas. But it was still great. Then we had a Devotional and I felt like it answered my prayer, because the night before I was struggling with how I am missing my music and so we had Richard Elliot who is the organist for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir speak to us and then he PLAYED for us. He played (and yes I wrote them down):
  • We Thank Thee Oh God for a Prophet, with bagpipes on the organ
  • How Great Thou Art
  • Guide Us Oh Great Jehovah
  • Good King Wensolslas?
  • Go Tell It On a Mountain
They focused on his feet and it was so CRAZY how fast his feet were moving and also hitting 2 notes with 1 foot at a time. Then we had another guy speak to us and he also sang. He got home from his mission a couple months ago from the Rancagua Chile mission. Oh yea his name is David Archuleta and he sang for us and the songs were:
  • a french Christmas song
  • Glorious (Meet the Mormons), he was still on his mission when they asked him to sing it and he recorded it then also.
  • If the Savior Stood Beside Me
  • Be Still My Soul (a verse in Spanish)
  •  Come Come Ye Saints (a verse in Spanish, with Richard Elliot on the organ)
  • Hark All Ye Nations, 3rd verse everyone joined along with the organ and Richard Elliot was Jamming out on the piano.
It was so awesome and thank you all for the support and love.
Love you all

Dec. 23, 2014

Hey I am doing pretty good today. I've been looking around at lunch and I think that I'll be able to see Malaki  Greene and Connor Sinclaire.  I haven't seen any general authorities but we had one devotional and that was so boring cause  it was super repetitive for an hour.

It has been hard but my companion is Awesome, kinda feel the same as Crispin. My companion Elder Post... pretty funny cause how tall he is, is 6'4" so he's  just a lil taller than me. He plays baseball but I can still forgive him. Its also crazy how fast we get to know each other ( in my district) we love each other already. Its also crazy how fast I come to love my investigators. its kinda roll play but with actual investigators. Its intimidating because the fact that we have to do them in spanish. The gift of tongues is Real... haha... My companion told an investigator that the "lenguas es muy dificil" which means that his tongue is very hard. He meant to say Idioma which is language. The others in my zone are saying that my district is learning SUPER fast and its really fun to think that.

It has been pretty rainy here too, we did get some snow but it melted. My companion is having a real hard time missing home because he lived in Heber which is just up the road and he said that he would come to the field across the street and play.

For Christmas I am able to call home and I'll be calling at 4:00 and can talk for a half hour (30 min). When i look  back to see how long I've been here its crazy how  much i have learned. Sunday wasn't a silent Sunday but  it was very different and strange. My P days are Tuesdays and I only get an hour to write but I can write letters any day. The Elders in my  room and my zone really, love the lego Christmas tree. The food taste really good but it makes everyone soo gassy even the hermanas.  They make me worried sometimes, the hermanas. Well thanks for all the prayers and stuff. I'll try to send pictures today.
